Grease Remover

Ready-to-use spray for removing grease stains

Grease Remover is a ready-to-use product that removes recent grease stains from a surface treated with Rubio Monocoat oil. We recommend applying this product immediately after the stain appears to prevent the grease from penetrating deeper. The product can also be used to remove heel marks, polish marks, floor polish and marker pen.  

Do you have a stain of which you don't know the origin? Then always try to remove it first with the regular maintenance cleaners, Surface Care or All Natural Wood Cleaner Spray. If that doesn't help, take the Rubio Monocoat stain removers and use them in this order or until the stain is completely gone: Limespot Remover, Grease Remover and finally Tannin Remover.

Suitable For

• Grease stains e.g. olive oil, frying oil, crisps, oil, etc.
• Can also be used for heel marks and floor polish.
• Should be applied immediately after the stain occurs thereby preventing the grease from penetrating the surface.
• Note: Do not use RMC stain removers (Tannin, Grease and Limespot Removers) on surfaces pre-treated with reactive products (reactive stains).

Tips

• For the removal of stubborn stains, you may need to repeat the procedure above several times until the stains have completely disappeared (see technical data sheet). 
• After treatment with Grease Remover or if the stain has penetrated too deeply into the wood, it may be necessary to locally reapply some oil in the original colour.
